Retirement is not just about building wealth. It is about protecting the life you have worked so hard to create.
For more than 40 years, I have helped individuals and couples make informed financial decisions with confidence. Before founding Personal Financial Strategies, Inc. in 1996, I served as a Vice President at a major Wall Street investment firm. I later spent more than 25 years helping clients grow, preserve, and transfer their wealth through retirement planning, estate planning strategies, asset protection, and long-term care planning.
After retiring from Personal Financial Strategies in 2022, I chose to return to the profession with one focus: helping individuals and families prepare for the possibility of long-term care.
I believe long-term care planning is about much more than insurance. An unexpected health event can affect your retirement savings, your independence, your choices, and the people you love most. Planning ahead can help protect what you have built while reducing the financial and emotional burden on your family.
Education has always been at the center of my approach. I am the author of The Big Picture Retirement Planning: From 30,000 Feet, written to make retirement planning easier to understand. My goal is to listen first, explain your options clearly, and help you make an informed decision with confidence.
As an independent long-term care insurance advisor, my loyalty is to my clients, not to any insurance company. If you do not need coverage, your current policy remains your best option, or purchasing coverage would not be financially appropriate, I will tell you. When coverage does make sense, I compare solutions from leading carriers and help identify an option based on your health, finances, family circumstances, and budget.
My goal is not to sell you a policy. It is to help you make the right decision for your future - so you can protect your independence, preserve your retirement savings, and feel confident that you and your family are prepared.
